Many of those who know me would say that I am passionate, privileged, adrift from reality. Much of the abundances of life, as I’ve known them, are had through pursuits of pleasure, pain, hardship. Life is a beauty meant to be felt.
As an artist my labor is through expression. While the world leads one way, I head another. During the past years, my fill has been venturing out making myself known, as others have made themselves known to me. A joy not made by my own hand but a deeper expression.
Music is a good expression for me. My songs have been accepted. I have made comfort in vacancy. Though, while there is a certain flare to the reclusive artist, it kills art. For where there is no beauty there is pain. It’s becoming clear where beauty is unseen there is also pain.
Catching up with the moment, expression is about renewal. Embrace of art is the artists’ privilege. Otherwise, there is no beauty in the art.
